Radial needle roller and cage assemblies
1, FBX-radial needle roller and cage assemblies is an independent roll element. The space between the two guiding faces of the cage is wide, it not only can guide the needle correctly, but also can keep the needle in the correct position. This kind of bearing is suitable for the situation which the shaft and housing both can be used as the raceway. When the raceway of the shaft and the housing are machined to its regulated dimension accuracy and geometry precision, the bearing can obtain its high precision rotation in the limited space.

2，Structure of radial needle roller and cage assemblies can be regulated to single row and double row. In order to meet special requirement, the cage can also be split.

3，The main structures of the cage of this kind bearing include M type and K type. The material of the cage is normally high-class carbon structural steel, high-class low carbon alloy steel such as 15CrMo, 20CrMo etc. or plastic cage also can be used according to the requirement. After treated chemically, the steel cage has enough strength and abrasion resistance. The plastic cage can be used in the temperature of 120℃, and in 180℃ temporarily.
  
4，Needles are sorted, the average diameter deviation of the needles in the same set of assemblies is from 2mm to 3um. The colors marked on the needle and the diameter groups it represented are showing as table-1.

FBX---generally provides needle groups of red, blue and white. These groups can meet the work clearance requirement in the general condition. In the special condition, the green and yellow groups can be adopted if there are special requirements.

5，The technical requirements of shaft and housing cooperated with the assemblies:
When radial needle roller and cage assemblies works between shaft and housing directly, the radial clearance is determined by the machining tolerance of shaft and housing raceway. When the tolerance of housing is G6, dimension tolerance of the shaft is recommended as Table-2:

In order to make the needle group reaching its full capacity, the surface hardness of raceway must be up to 58-64HRC, the hardened depth must be up to 0.6-1mm, surface roughness Ra shouldn’t exceed 0.2µm. The raceway shape must correspond with the related standard requirement.
